Dr. Althof is a Voluntary Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is also on the Consulting Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach. Additionally, Dr. Althof is Professor of Psychology in the Department of Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Althof frequently teaches seminars for urologists, gynecologists, family practice physicians, nurses, physician's assistants, mental health clinicians, residents, and psychology graduate students. Additionally, Dr. Althof teaches courses on the diagnosis and treatment of male and female sexual problems at national and international professional meetings.
The Center's staff are highly sought after as speakers, both nationally and internationally, to present the results of their research. Articles have appeared in highly-respected journals such as Lancet, Journal of Urology, Journal of Sexual Medicine, and Sex and Marital Therapy. Additionally, results of Dr. Althof's research have also appeared in lay publications such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Playboy, Readers Digest and Newsweek.
